History of Anbhalaya

Anbhalaya Trust was registered under Indian Public Charitable Trust and it is located at No. 5/140, Main road, Sandalarpuram village, Kullalangadu Post, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District of Tamilnadu. The Trust was registered in 27th August 2008 with the registration number of 624/2008. The trust had also received Income Tax certificate u/s of 12 A (a) of IT Act 1961, and the Income tax Exemption u/s BOG of IT Act 1961. The Trust's FCRA registration Number is 075890449 received in the year of 02.11.2017 from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for receiving foreign contributions and donation from outside India. The Trust has been closely working with the Dalit community in the district of Dindigul and especially with the sanitary workers, widows, marginal farmers, adolescent boys and girls and the elderly people who belong to the communit.

Ten staff members and 25 volunteers are directly involved in the programme activities of the organization. Anbhalaya means the temple of love which gives its tender & motherly to needy people and to those who are under privileged children, women and youth.

Objectives of Anbhalaya

1.To improve the scholastic performance of the targeted children from the two villages by establishing Evening study centre
2. To empower the targeted children in improving their English language proficiency skills for their academic success in the targeted villages
3. To improve the health conditions of the children and their mothers through nutritional support and health camps respectively.
